Dr. Darter had the opportunity to meet and listen to pioneer and advocate for street medicine, Dr. Jim O'Connell. Additionally, she met Pulitzer Prize-winning author Tracy Kidder, who wrote the book Rough Sleepers.

Dr. Darter and volunteers of KSMO were able to go to Carry The Torch. Carry the Torch was organized Volunteer Ministry Center(VMC). We were able to demonstrate what we are doing at Knox Street Medicine Outreach for the unhoused community.

On November 3rd, KSMO visited Fig Tree for the first time. We were pleased to assist a few patients at their amazing facility. KSMO will be visiting Fig Tree monthly to provide free healthcare to our unsheltered neighbors
